There is surprising colour to be found in flowers, bark, cones, mushrooms and lichens.
Join us at Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of dyeing wool with foraged materials, hosted by board member Erika Goetz-Lad. Erika will take you through the steps, from collecting, storing and preparing to the dyeing process. Participants will prepare dye baths and dye samples of spun wool.
The cost is $65 per person. The workshop takes place on Sunday, September 21st, from 12:30-4:30PM. All materials and refreshments are included.
Reservations in advance are required at https://tinyurl.com/56ez7dss. There are only a limited number of seats available for this workshop, so it is recommended to book your place early. All proceeds support Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum.
