Event Description

The VSO continues it's community outreach concerts with Ocean Crossings: Western music/Eastern inspiration. It includes compositions by Vivier/Rea - Pulau Dewata (Bali); Simon Holt - Kites (Japanese kites; Ray Zhuo- Dao Ban (China); Grace Lee - Kayagum Concerto (Korea) and Louie - Demon Gate (Three Ghost Stories) (China). Ken Hsieh conducts with featured soloists Grace Lee on the Kayagum and Gui Lian Liu on the Pipa.
