The Victoria Symphony Celebrates the 250th Birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart With Six Concerts

Leopold Mozart Sinfonia in B flat for Strings
Mozart Concerto for Flute and Harp in C major, K297c
Mozart Serenade no. 9 in D major, “Posthorn”, K 320

Renowned harpist Rita Costanzi and Vancouver Symphony's principal flautist Christie Reside join the Victoria Symphony for Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp. This concert includes a work by Mozart's father, Leopold, and the young Mozart's delightful “Posthorn” Serenade, composed to celebrate an outdoor graduation, with the post horn in the second movement signalling the students' departure for their summer vacation.
