Event Description

Live from the Rockies presents a soulful, immersive evening in Banff featuring Western Canadian alt-pop auteur Amelie Patterson, whose poetic predisposition has landed her a golden reputation as a songwriter and community builder.

This special performance will feature songs from her latest EP, Napoleon (released in Fall 2024) featuring the striking singles Armageddon and Napoleon.

Performing as a trio, Amelie blends sophisticated folk foundations with rich, atmospheric alt-pop, creating a sound that’s both deeply personal and sonically captivating. Her poetic songwriting and polished instrumentation bring a sense of dramatic depth to every song, making for an unforgettable live experience.

A celebrated artist and songwriter, Amelie has shared the stage with Serena Ryder, Matt Andersen, and Sarah Harmer, and as the inaugural poet laureate of Banff, her roots run deep in the Rockies, making this performance a homecoming of sorts.

With warm stage presence and storytelling that feels both intimate and universal, Amelie invites you to come for the music, stay for the magic—this is a night you won’t want to miss!
