Event Description

Hailing from Surrey, BC, Marc Micu, a jazz and funk artist, is a performer, composer, arranger, educator and advocate for all things music. His love for music started on the drum kit at age 4, and extended onwards, earning "Best Junior Trumpet Player" in 2016. Joined by Jaymes Curran, Brayden Wright, Lachlan Barry, Koshi Thompson, and Zach Smith, Marc's funky setlist guarantees captivating rhythms that may leave your brain grooving and your skin tinged with purple.

The Vic High R&B Band is made up of extremely hardworking talented students from the music program ranging from grade nine to twelve. This group stems from a long tradition of excellence and continues to carry that Vic High gold standard. This high energy ensemble promises to impress and plays a wide variety of fun music. A little something for everyone with highlights of upbeat and toe tapping tunes from past decades to modern hits!
