Event Description

Exaudi features profound and beautiful music which explores the need to be heard and understood by each other, and to understand life and death itself. The focal point is Jocelyn Morlock’s extraordinary Exaudi, which sets excerpts from the text of the Requiem mass; Indian-American composer Reena Esmail’s remarkable When the Violin features alongside the Morlock. For this performance Vox Humana is joined by Victoria Symphony’s principal cellist, Brian Yoon.
