Fairytales are full of colourful and innocent characters, but after the tales are over, what happens to the characters? Innocence is a devised storytelling structure that explores the concept of losing innocence. It may look like a fairytale as we follow Red Riding Hood, Peter, and Alice, but this story explores the trials of youth colliding with the darkness of adulthood. How do we lose ourselves when sexuality tempts us? What happens when we overindulge in a simpler past? What happens when the world you know no longer makes sense? We strive to ask the question: What is it to lose your innocence? Who do you become when it's gone?

Innocence Astray performed in Regina and Calgary Fringe, and are excited to bring their show to the Victoria Fringe stage. Based out of Calgary this team is excited to come west!
