About The ToneKats
Dave Bull and bassist John Sedgwick are joined by the newest member on drums: Simon Handley.
Since being formed in 2003, the ToneKats have performed in eastern Ontario, primarily in the greater Kingston area. They have been regulars at The Merchant, RaXX, Kingston Ribfest, festivals, and private events playing rock n roll with a fusion of old and new school rock you can dance to.
It's tight, you can hear the band's unique sound covering classic and post-classic rock. The ToneKats draw from a wide repertoire of songs from 54-40, Gin Blossoms, CCR, GNR, REM, David Bowie, Black Crowes, Billy Idol, White Stripes, Weezer, Van Morrison, The Tragically Hip, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Cake, Neil Diamond, Tom Petty, Steve Earle, Blake Shelton, Blue Oyster Cult, Le Zeppelin, Bryan Adams, Kidd Rock, and more. They've been known to play requests, so come with ideas, they love an interactive crowd experience and they are a lot of fun to go and see!
