Phoenix presents our quintessential 40th year anniversary concert: Our Favourite Things! This concert will premiere a new commissioned work by Saunder Choi, performed together by Phoenix Chamber Choir and a guest youth choir from the Phoenix Choral Experience. Journeying through Phoenix’s rich history, we will recognize the individuals who’ve helped build our organization. This will include former Phoenix artistic director Ramona Luengen joining us to guest conduct, as well as a performance of I Will Lift Mine Eyes by former Phoenix artistic director Graeme Langager.

Finally, we will have an opportunity to thank and include our community. Our concert will conclude with an interactive element in which Grammy nominated singer/composer and vocal activist Melanie DeMore will lead the audience in song. Melanie believes in the power of voices raised together, and we are looking forward to her sharing Lead With Love with Phoenix, students and audience members. We look forward to honoring our past, building the future, and raising the voices of our community in song!
