Present “Life to Live"

Lorraine Nygaard, local singer/songwriter, is delighted to present a heart-warming collection of songs to warm your hearts.
She is joined by a trio of musicians that are equally looking forward to this first-ever configuration. You’ve enjoyed Attila’s brilliant work on the keys; Damian’s exciting, energetic beats; and we are all discovering the intelligent, inspiring bass work by Phillip. Bring them together, and you will not want to miss what transpires this evening!
Lorraine is curating a reflective and thoughtful program. Part tribute to recently-passed legend, Burt Bacharach; part her original songs; mix in your favourite jazz standards; all with her mother’s last week of reminders to Lorraine, “You’ve got a life to live”.
Lorraine’s first inspiration to music was of course, her mother Ruby. From farmer family roots, Ruby instilled what is important in this life: simple joys of family bonds; celebrations of life through song and dance; appreciation of nature: land, sea and sky; and the magic and mystery of love. Prepare to be inspired, and enjoy.
