Event Description

The dynamic front woman of Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar finds it easy to walk her stunning voice between tidal waves of spine-tingling emotion in one instance, while delicately bringing out the nuances of a gut-wrenching lyric in the next.

As songwriter, singer, arranger, and band leader, Martin and her “co-vocalists” create Delta Sugar’s vocal alchemy of pure, unadulterated gospel-tinged, neuron-tingling magic, where the sum is even richer than the already soul-melting parts.

It is little wonder that Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar have multiple JUNO Award and Maple Blues Award nominations, and an International Artist of the Year nomination from the UK Blues Awards.
