Event Description

Join us while we roam the savannah, looking closely at some the creatures who call this part of the world home. With Robert Bateman’s artwork as inspiration, we will learn how to capture the appearance, shapes and textures of these interesting animals.

Students will cover such art fundamentals as line drawing, understanding shapes and shading techniques, with a fresh and fun approach that will encourage budding artists to create beautiful nature sketches.

All classes will be made available to stream asynchronously if you cannot make the times listed! Instructors are also available by email for individual critiques or questions outside of class time.
