Calling all artists!

Open Mic Night in the Park
Friday September 3
6pm to 9pm
All ages

Do you have a song you know super well, or one you want to try out in public? Do you have an audition piece to show off? Is there a poem you know by heart? Maybe you've got a short scene you'd like to try?

Come join Theatre SKAM for an open mic night at the Courthouse Playground. SKAM's pop-up team will play the role of emcees, introducing acts and performing the shows they've been doing all summer, but with a bit of a twist. They've now been performing the summer lineup for two months and they are pretty sure they know one another's lines. Let's find out. They'll choose some scenes from their repertoire, randomly draw character names to switch parts, and attempt to perform them without a hitch. Combined with whatever you have in mind: song, poem, monologue, scene, it is going to make for a fun and casual night of good safe times.
This event is all ages so keep it clean.
Please, no foul language.
