The Paradigm Community Arts Festival is putting together this electic night of quality music from all corners of the city, drawing on sounds from all corners of the world. Local legends Daniel Lapp, Bossa You, Social are joined by more artists than this add had room for, all coming together to promote awareness of and provide relief from substance abuse, family violence and youth poverty in Victoria. In other words, we're gonna be rocking against meth, violence and poverty! Come out and support this awesome cause by enjoying some of the best music Victoria has to offer. More info at

Social (Live PA electronic dance music)

Social is a live PA Electronic group consisting of Hrdvsion (real name Nathan Jonson) and A Great White Bird (real name Pema Douma). Nathan’s live percussion style is unabashedly bombastic and funky, with enough Aphex Twin and Gold Chains influence to make you feel like you’re in a city ten times larger and the tap water is 50 proof. Supplying a luscious mix of traditional bossanova with a modern edge, this local band impresses with its original interpretations of Brazilian music. Daniel Lapp (Fiddler, Jazz trumpeter, singer/songwriter)

As a fiddler, jazz trumpeter and singer/songwriter, Daniel has played on over 100 albums and performed across Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Finland and Germany.
