Event Description

A new physically-distanced festival celebrating interactive and community art in and around Quadra Village - Lekwungen Territory (Victoria, BC) from August 29 - Sept 7, 2020.

Local artists will be matched with residents who offer to host art where they live. Visitors will get an audio walking tour featuring permanent works, and map with locations and information about the artists and temporary works on display throughout the neighbourhood. Check out all of the art in one day, or take your time and visit a part of the neighbourhood each time. There is so much to explore!

Artists will benefit directly from ticket sales. A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Red Cedar Café, to support their free meal delivery service.

Curated Local Art Walking Tour

An exclusive audio walking tour, featuring local historian Vincent Gornall, of Vincent’s Victoria.

Exclusive Art Map

A map of temporary and permanent interactive and community art installations, carefully curated and including historical information about permanent installations, and biographies of local artists.

An Opportunity to Support Artists

The artists who enliven our communities need our support now, more than ever! We have relied on them to get us through long days of self-isolation. Purchasing a ticket to the Out There is a safe, physically-distanced way to give back.
