Earth, Air, Fire, and Water personified meet in a Spanish bar in Antonio de Literes’ fast-paced, exotic, and entertaining opera Los Elementos (c. 1718). This is a crowd-pleaser with humour, flamenco dance, foot-tapping rhythms, dazzling guitar riffs, and glorious singing.
