Event Description
Jorge Carrizales presents an early afternoon piano recital “Echos of Mexico”, highlighting a range of modern Mexican composers from the late 19th century until now.
Jorge Eduardo Flores Carrizales was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. He obtained a B. Mus. with honours from the University of Guanajuato in 2016, where he studied with Elena Podzharova. He has given recitals in Mexico and the United States, and is his final year of a Master’s program in piano performance at the University of Victoria, where he studies under Arthur Rowe.
