Event Description

Special Live Music Halloween Event!

Cinecenta Films and Lakelse present a special Halloween screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” featuring an original score written and performed live by Lakelse. Watch Lakelse perform their original score alongside Hitchcock's 1963 horror-thriller classic and get lost in this one of a kind Halloween cinematic experience.

Lakelse (pronounced lake-else) is an independent and alternative rock band based out of Victoria, BC. Formed in late 2014 by singer/guitarist Nash Park, bassist Sam Dunn, guitarist Graham Schibli, keyboardist Caitlyn Norman-Kovalick and percussionist Cam Harper. Lakelse has been working hard to finish their first full length studio album and has devoted all their extra time to writing the music for this special event screening.

So if you’re looking for a fun night with the family, a memorable evening with friends, or just tired of the usual Halloween hustle this special Halloween screening of “The Birds” might be just what you’ve been looking for.

$10 students, seniors and advanced; $15 general at door
