Welcome to the catHAUS!

Never afraid to push the boundaries of her comfort zone, AWood has forged a path in the Vancouver DJ scene and has made a name for herself in the queer community DJing house, tech-house and techno.
AWood is a resident of the DJ group FemmeFatale, hosted the livestream show “Waist Deep” on Public Address featuring local queer and female artists and is co-founder of the queer collective HousewerQ who throw underground parties around Vancouver. Her infectious selections, seamless transitions and ability to bring her audience to life through music make Awood a multifaceted and versatile artist.

Formally known as one half of twin duo ‘Armistice’, ‘GISSALA’ is also embarking her solo image with a fresh tech/deep house sound. She is a staple in the Vancouver LGBTQ community, making appearances at countless queer parties all over the city including Vancouver Pride and adding HousewerQ to her growing list, a house inspired night she’s also co-founded.
