Event Description

Catch a glimpse of healthcare's future from the UVic researchers and students transforming it through innovations in "smart materials." Presentation highlights include 3D tissue bioprinting; 3D-printed prosthetics for developing countries; nano-scale drug delivery methods; and innovations in cancer therapy, drug screening, and imaging. Get the latest insights on neuroscience, from electroencephalograms (EEG) and motion capture to virtual reality. Check out new methods of modeling cancer in a dish to develop new therapies. Join us for short talks on this exciting research and hands-on displays.

Light refreshments will be served and there will be one drink ticket available to use on a limited selection of drinks per registered attendee. Food orders will not be available during the event.
