Event Description

Friday, November 2nd at 7:30pm Open Space will present Eve Egoyan : SOLO FOR DUET off-site at Metro Studio Theatre (1411 Quadra Street)

A deeply integrated virtuosic mix of sound, image and spoken narrative, SOLO FOR DUET challenges traditional conceptions of piano and pianist in an innovative, multi-sensory journey that leads the audience through layered emotional musical worlds, at times introspective, startling, playful, poetic and urgent.

Conceived and Performed by Eve Egoyan with works by Eve Egoyan, Nicole Lizée, John Oswald, David Rokeby, Linda Catlin Smith and Michael Snow.
