Event Description

Starting at 12 noon on Sunday August 26 enjoy Free Sunday Concerts and Family Fun until 5pm. Families, youth and everyone who is young-at-heart will enjoy FREE concerts and community programming including children’s entertainment; a “community beats” all-ages, no experience required drumming workshop; and a festive afternoon of live music including West Coast Jazz, New Orleans Street Beats, Balkan brass, and calypso rhythm.

Line-up:
12:00pm – Mike Higgins Trio: West Coast Jazz.
1 - 2:30 pm - Robin Layne Community Beats: Renowned percussionist will be leading a no-experience required, all ages drumming workshop.
1 - 4 pm Dixie Stars: Face painting and fun activities for the kids.
3 - 5 pm - Tiny Islands: New Orleans Street beats flow into Balkan brass trumpet lines and Afrobeat inspired rhythms.
