Event Description

The festival opens Wednesday, August 15th at 7pm with the first of three free Twilight Jazz Series concerts at the PAL Studio Theatre. Gordon Grdina and Hamin Honari’s cross-cultural, boundary-annihilating music will appeal equally to lovers of world, folk, jazz, avant-garde and indie music – a brilliant mix of effortless cohesion and wild abandon.

On Wednesday, August 22 at 7pm, well known West Coast vocalist Joani Taylor takes the PAL stage for an unforgettable, soulful evening.

The Van Django Trio plays the final evening of the Twilight Jazz Series on Wednesday, August 29th at 7pm. Their music is rooted in 1930s Paris with flights of driving rhythm, jazz, and dazzling fancy.
