Event Description
Friday 25 May from 6-8pm the City of Victoria’s Indigenous Artist in Residence Lindsay Delaronde presents an evening of music, dance, food-sharing, and celebration! Join her for an artist talk about working as a guest on Lekwungen territory, followed by a community potluck, and the sharing of Iroquois songs and dances.
If possible, please bring a food from your cultural influences to share, and come prepared to dance!
This workshop is being presented as part of Guest House 2018, a series of discussions, workshops, and activities hosted by members of Victoria’s diverse communities around the themes of hospitality, sharing space, and being a guest.
