One of the biggest obstacles in forming a band is finding a place to play. Another Man's Gold was born out of religiously hauling a drum kit, generator, amps, and guitars to nearby industrial areas. With the freedom to play during all hours of the night, they cultivated a sound based on dirty guitar riffs blended with the natural echoes from surrounding warehouses.
Now filled out into a riff based 4 piece, and a place to play, AMG aims to explore the writing process and contribute to a seemingly depleted culture of rock music.

Playing music for over ten years, Jake Touzel has performed in and fronted a handful of groups until the realization that his efforts were best spent solo. Drawing inspiration from such artists including but not limited to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Constantines, Tom Waits and Jeff Buckley, Jake spent his early musical years playing countless café gigs.
