Scandinavian/British piano trio Phronesis have been electrifying international audiences for just over a decade with their virtuoso jazz improvisations and engaging grooves. Danish trio leader Jasper Høiby plays double bass with the power and agility of Dave Holland, and gets brilliant ensemble and solo performances from British pianist Ivo Neame and Swedish/Norwegian drummer Anton Eger. Certainly one of the “can’t miss” performances at this year’s festival!
