Event Description

$15 advance & VJS members, $20 at the door

For the third consecutive year, the Victoria Jazz Society will be hosting Jazz Festivals Canada’s annual networking and booking meetings in Victoria, British Columbia. These meetings will take place from November 7 through 11, 2016. Jazz festival artistic directors from across Canada (Victoria, BC to Halifax, Nova Scotia) will be meeting in order to develop national tours for both Canadian and international artists for the 2017 festival season.

As part of these meetings, the VJS, on behalf of Jazz Festivals Canada, is facilitating a Showcase featuring musicians/bands from across Canada and the United States at Hermann’s Jazz Club on November 8 and 9, 2016. The general public is invited to attend these ticketed performances. These Showcases will feature four separate performances each night
