CeltFest Vancouver Island presents

THE BARRA MACNEILS: An East Coast Christmas

CeltFest Vancouver Island invites everyone to celebrate an East Coast - styled Christmas with Canada's first family of Celtic music. The Barra MacNeils return to Victoria November 16, 2016 to kick off the holiday season. Steeped in Cape Breton tradition with strong Celtic roots and musical artistry, this diversely talented group of siblings sells out shows around the world. They’ll be showcasing the captivating vocals, harmonies and extraordinary musicianship alongside spirited step dancing, that are famously featured on their popular Christmas TV specials.

Appearing with the family in Victoria’s McPherson Playhouse will be Vancouver Island-based master piper René Cusson and a dynamic dance troupe of Highland and step dancers under the direction of CeltFest founder Carolyn Phillips-Cusson--- bringing together multiple generations in the Celtic community, as tradition dictates.
