This is a very special event with a weekend of shows put on by your favorite Hermanns gals. Come out and support one or all three shows!

Show 1 - Friday June 5th, 2015
GYPSY BY HEART - The Jaya Bremer Quintet
Members: Mitchell Green, Jeff Poynter, Simon Poslun, and Nick Mintenko
Time: 8:00pm to 11:00pm
Admission: $12

Jaya Bremer is a local singer/songwriter and previous student of the Victoria Conservatory of Music where she studied jazz vocals. She is involved in a variety of musical projects and genres and is excited to be bringing a night of gypsy jazz to Hermanns. Inspired by her extensive travels as well as her love of jazz and swing, the complex rhythms, sweet lull of the accordion will transport listeners to a cafe in Paris or the streets of eastern Europe. It is a fresh take on many beloved jazz standards, as well as a few that might not be so familiar.
Joined by some very talented young musicians: Mitchell Green on lead guitar, Nick Mintenko on bass, Jeff Poynter on accordion and Sax, and Simon Posluns on rhythm guitar, this night is bound to be one to remember!



Show 2 - Saturday June. 6th, ,2015
IMPULSE RESPONSE - featuring Shanna Dance
Members: Alexander Ferguson, Damian Graham
Time: 8:00pm to 10:30pm
Admission- $15 / $12 Students or Seniors

Impulse Response is Victoria’s newest soul, groove,and R&B trio. The group is small with a big sound. Shanna and Alexander front the band as lead vocalists. With tight and punchy grooves, their sound is infused with sweet and soulful harmonies. The bands influences include: Soulive, Aretha Franklin, Bill Withers, The Meters, Herbie Hancock, Justin Timberlake, Donny Hathaway, Joss Stone, John Mayer Trio, D’Angelo, Michael Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Marvin Gaye and Ray Charles. This group is comprised of talented musicians who have played at such venues as: Hermanns Jazz Club, Swans, Bartholomew’s, Canoe Club, Vista 18, Darcy’s, My Bar and Grill, The Oswego Hotel, The Bengal Lounge and many more. All



Show 3 - Sunday June 7th , 2015
THE DEVEN MILES QUARTET
Members: James Liira, Dylan Marks , and Noah Monckton
Time: 4:00PM to-7:00pm
Admission- $12

The Deven Miles’ Quartet features the vocal stylings of Salt Spring Island’s own Deven Miles, with Victoria's James Liira on piano, Dylan Marks on guitar, and Noah Monckton on bass. Combined, these four Victoria Conservatory of Music graduates bring New Orleans classics with a smooth R&B feel that'll have you up and dancing! It's a show you won't want to miss!

Leave a message including your full name, phone number, how many tickets you would like and for what show and date. Ticket reservations will be held until 15 min prior to show time. Please note that reservations are made for tickets, NOT TABLES! Seating is first-come, first serve. Come early for best seats. Table reservations will be made for groups of 6 or more that wish to arrive 1 hour prior to show-time.
