Event Description

Cowichan 950 Toastmasters meets from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm every Wednesday evening at Island Savings Recreation Centre in Duncan. Toastmasters International empowers people to achieve their full potential and realize their public speaking dreams. When you join a local Toastmasters Club you will receive a Competent Communication Manual and a Leadership Manual. You will follow these manuals as you work on speech projects and fulfill different communication and leadership roles each week. Each week you will receive specific feedback that builds on your strengths and helps you find the courage to change. You will learn to evaluate others through this same combination of positive observations and gifts of growth. This practice and feedback model has been working for over 90 years to produce millions of strong communicators and leaders around the world. Won't you join us?
