Event Description

Trunk Drive Band formed from a long-standing friendship that began when Drix, guitarist Raymund, bassist Daniel and drummer Will, singer Hayley and sax player Ryan- bonded by a shared love of electric blues, Latin music, jazz fusion, soul, RnB and funk- began performing together in their hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia. Their knack for combining different layers of genres into tasty tune and funky groove has resulted in a unique blend of music that got them a devoted following. Listeners (and partiers) experience a great tour of the different cradle of music; from Delta, Mississippi to Chicago, Caribbean to New Orleans with a twist of old school hip hop and funk.


Trunk Drive Band has performed regularly at many city events in Greater Vancouver. They partook in last year`s Jazz Festival and Port Coquitlam`s Village Vibe Performing Artists series has always been their musical playground every summer for the past 4 years. The wedding gig at Prospect Point, Stanley Park was a night for the books where they played for 3 hours, non-stop, when people gave in and danced to the groove. SD Galleria at Main St and Frankie G`s Boiler House at New West got ``funkified`` a couple of times.
