Event Description

In his new exhibition titled Downtowners, Shawn Shepherd addresses thoughts on the anonymity of city living. He modifies discarded photo etched portrait plates from the local newspaper press, to reprint and colour them with disguises. The portraits of local, national and international celebrities become absorbed in a history of ideas and methods previously employed by the the artist.
