Nick Thorburn—along with current bandmates Evan Gordon, Geordie Gordon, Adam Halferty — are set to hit the road this spring with today’s announcement of a full Canadian tour kicking off on March 10th. In support of last fall’s release, Ski Mask, Islands will hit both coasts for a series of shows in cities including Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver. A few US dates are in the mix as well, including shows in Portland, Maine, Grand Rapids, and Fargo.

Released last September, Ski Mask is Thorburn at his “predictably unpredictable” best. A record that is equal parts beauty and venom, Ski Mask percolates with the kind of polymorphous pop and hooky, left-of-center rock songs that have long been the band’s stock and trade.
