Event Description

Days of Heaven is a Vancouver-based band that formed in 2012. High school friends Jay Lang (bass) and Dave Perry (guitar, vocals) started out playing sparse surfer/motorik arrangements eventually shifting focus to harmonies and catchy riffs, with a strong pop sensibility. Over a bit of time the sound became more shoegaze / brit pop inspired, as the band started experimenting with pedals / distortion. The band then took on Barnabi Luna, a Peruvian who spent the latter part of the 90′s in Lima punk bands, Luke Camilleri an experienced musical theatre actor (who has since left the band due to being cast in a Toronto television production) and long time guitar player Matthew MacDonald-Bain. The band recently finished a 5 song EP, recorded and produced by Felix flung.
