VanMusic, CiTR and CJSF present the Indie Pop Vancouver Series Vol XCV a Dia de Muertos special at the British Ex Servicemen British Ex-Servicemen's Association 1143 Kingsway. Come in costumes. Skeletons and Catrinas preferred.

Los Furios, the best ska band in British Columbia, is back for another Day of the Death concert. Los Furios shows are always sold out at the B EX. With an explosive festive sound it is impossible not to dance. Los Furios have played every venue in the city since 2000 as well as toured Mexico a few times now where they are a force to be reckoned with.

Devil in the Woodshack are about to release their first EP with tunes that soon will be classic in the Vancouver indie scene. A six-piece, acoustic-based band with unapologetic honesty, more guts than glory and more intrigue than a well told story. Raw and untamed; a hurricane that hates the rain; a sound straight from hell riding on drunken angel wings. With western, gypsie, punk and blues influences and members from opposite ends of the country, they come together to make a sound like no other.
