Throughout the month of October at Moka House Coffee on Fort Street, local Victoria artist Toni Micol presents a diverse body of floral and landscape themes in watercolours and acrylics.
Born in London, England, Toni studied art and design and spent several years working in the London fashion business, which influenced her love of colour and form. Having travelled extensively in Europe, her work was also influenced by the landscapes of Italy, Spain and France. Some of her impressionistic paintings have been exhibited in London. Since moving to Victoria, she has been influenced by the magnificent West Coast scenery and now enjoys using these images to create abstract concepts in addition to her earlier styles.
