Celebrating Iconic Women from Burlesque to Broadway starring Quinn Lemley
The River Rock Casino, Richmond, BC

Direct from New York City, Quinn Lemley and her back up divas will dazzle audiences in a scintillating tribute to the women who defined burlesque and illuminated Broadway. From Fanny Brice, Sally Rand, Mae West, Bette Midler and others - this Vegas style production will transport audiences to the world of Minsky's, Vaudeville, and The Ziegfeld Follies. Directed by Tony Award-winning Director Joe Hardy, Burlesque To Broadway delivers a visually stunning performance backed by a live intoxicating 10-piece band, celebrating the iconic music and the ladies who went from burlesque to Broadway and beyond.

Quinn Lemley and her sexy sidekicks, Gracie (Amanda Brantley) and Raz (Sara Brophy) – backed by a smoking, LIVE 10-piece big band – transport audiences to the golden era of vaudeville where oversized personalities, such as Mae West, Cher and the “Queen of Queens”, Miss Gypsy Rose Lee, teasing dances, and brassy singing ruled the day.

Burlesque to Broadway is a fun-filled, compelling and uplifting story of the timeless icons that rose from meager beginnings to becoming strong, celebrated artists. Using song, dance and vivid imagery, with dynamic vocals from Quinn and her “girls” with one show-stopping hit after another, She’s A Lady, You Don’t Own Me, Boom Boom, Let Me Entertain You… Miss Lemley portrays the heart and soul, not to mention the humor of these sexy and glamorous stars at the height of their career. Accompanied by a LIVE 10-piece band, each song is like an atomic explosion and with each story and joke a better understanding and appreciation of what becomes a legend most!

Quinn Lemley: How does a nice Midwestern girl end up in sequins and feathers singing The Standards? Well, Quinn came out of the womb performing. By the age of four, she was starring at her parents chicken n ribs restaurant, The Buffy, hence the feathers, singing to the diverse customers from executives to the local flasher. Far Out Foxy Lady from A Far Out Land enhanced her desire for flashy glamour. Quinn’s passion and education for classic films, especially Rita Hayworth, Big Band, Broadway, Burlesque Music and Humor came from her best friend, Granny Lemley, who shared stories and music transporting Q into another world. By 16, in Bordeaux, France, she was the youngest opera student of the great diva, Christianne Castelli. When she started swinging "O mio Babbino caro," it was evident Broadway, jazz and the The American Songbook were her calling! Her first femme fatale role was in The Great American Backstage Musical at Interlochen Arts Academy before heading off to the Big Apple at NYU.
