Event Description

The acclaimed Pacific Northwest ensemble Cappella Romana and guest artist Ioannis Arvanitis (the world's leading authority on Greek liturgical chant), perform the glorious choral music of Byzantium. By all accounts, a deeply moving programme.

The ensemble has a special commitment to mastering the difficult Slavic and Byzantine repertoires in their original languages, thereby making accessible to the general public two great music traditions that are little-known in the West.
