Event Description

Duo Joncol have performed concerts across Europe and have won numerous prizes including the first prize in the international guitar competition Olsztyn (Poland, 2008) and the first prize in the "Niccolo Paganini"-guitar competition in Parma (Italy, 2009), Duo Joncol’s repertoire spans from baroque music and compositions of the classical period to contemporary music. Besides their passion for promoting and performing Catalan music, they are particularly interested in the music of Spanish and Latin-American composers whose work is inspired by folkloric elements.
