Event Description

The Wilderness Committee, in partnership with the Treaty 8 First Nations and the Peace Valley Environmental Association have recently returned from the first leg of their province-wide speaking tour about the beautiful and ecologically important Peace River Valley and the negative impacts of the Site C Dam Project.

On May 30th, we kick off the second leg of the tour at First Metropolitan United (932 Balmoral - Corner of Quadra and Balmoral) from 7pm-9pm. The evening will feature firsthand testimonials by some of the community members who will be most impacted by this project.

The fate of the beautiful Peace River Valley is under threat of being forever drowned by the proposed Site C Dam. We must stand up to protect this valuable land. Please come on May 30th and share this email or the event listing (below) with your networks.
