Local indie garage band Inventing the Dinosaur will headline at the Media Club this Friday, February 25th, along with fellow hard-rock Vancouver natives Trout band and one of Victoria's favourites Bloody Wilma. .
Inventing The Dinosaur:
Inventing the Dinosaur is a garage rock band hailing from Vancouver, B.C. The three piece delivers a unique spin on soft / loud explosive sounds and puts new noise into tracks influenced by the raw energy of nineties grunge. The trio takes a reckless approach to live performances often building a calm anxious energy into a full-blown riotous performance filled with feedback and habitually ending with instruments strewn about the stage.

Trout:
Featuring former members of 3 Inches of Blood and Mystery Machine, Troüt is a three-piece guitar rock band. Forging irresistibly catchy hard rocking tunes worthy of a few thousand fist pumps, their honesty shines through the music with crafty arrangements, hefty rhythms, and luscious tone. Troüt is a three piece band trapped in an orchestra's body - their swirling guitar loops and pounding rhythms will force the blood to the back of your chest as their wall of sound invades and pleases your inner ear.
