The comic and beautiful tale of the island that floated away.

British theatre company Hoipolloi, along with Welshman Hugh Hughes, bring this Edinburgh Fringe smash-hit to Victoria for the first time.

On April 1, 1982 the Isle of Anglesey is set adrift from the mainland of Wales by an earthquake. This whimsical show reconstructs its fantastical journey across the Atlantic, up to the Arctic and beyond.

Since 1994, Hoipoilloi has toured the world with its uniquely imaginative and comical productions, performing everywhere from the Sydney Opera House to London’s Barbican Centre.
