How to Appreciate Chinese Opera

Event Description

Join us for a day of Chinese opera at the Vancouver Public Library. This workshop will be presented in both Chinese and English and will give you a backstage look at the makeup process of real Chinese opera performers and their beautiful costumes and accessories. Get to know the history of this unique opera and enjoy a short performance of Cantonese opera repertoire.
