Event Description

This poet, inventor, and speaker of truth has lead an adventurous life. Deevin Avairis, or better known by the nick name his father gave him as a child, Duff, is a rebel warrior not bound by limits. His fierce determination is born out of difficult life challenges. Through his poetry in song we are allowed a glimpse into his heart. Getting an early start as a guitar player in the family band, Deevin has deep musical roots. One of his biggest challenges however, came in the summer of 2007. While working as a commercial pilot his aircraft struck a power line and came crashing to the ground. Due to partial loss of use in his left hand, he had little choice but to re-string his guitar and learn how to play the opposite way. Thankful to be alive and playing once again, Deevin’s song and style emanate a true passion for music and life, neither of which can be silenced.
