Event Description

What is SketchOff!?

SketchOff! is a sketch comedy competition featuring several sketch comedy acts.

How does the competition work?

Each act will bring one of their own established sketches and perform it at SketchOff! in the first act. A judging panel will score the sketch based on several criteria, including audience response. For the second act, each performance group will have prepared 2 additional sketches based on "The Theme" and "The Quote." An audience member will draw from a hat (or similar device) to determine which of the ideas will be performed for ALL performers in this part of the show. Again, each act will be judged similarly to the first act. Whichever acts have the top 2 combined scores will take part in The Final SketchOff!

What's The Final SketchOff!?

In The Final SketchOff! these top two teams will perform the other prepared sketch they have. The judging will happen again, and we'll announce the winner.

What does the winner get?

50% of the night's profits.
