Opera Speaks Series

Salome: “Reaching for New Lows”

In partnership with the Vancouver Public Library, Vancouver Opera presents a masterclass for deeper voices, with internationally celebrated bass-baritone Greer Grimsley, who will star as John the Baptist in Vancouver Opera's production of Salome (May 2-9, 2009).

This is a rare opportunity to experience the process of developing character and vocal "presence" in the lowest vocal register. Arrive early. These events are very popular and seating is limited.
