Event Description

It's a cold world out there. The streets are paved with angst, our air reeks of greed, and corporate buildings drip an invisible ether that threatens to purge love from our hearts. Fortunately, these seemingly insurmountable forces of modern living can be eradicated with one delicious serving of Chocolate Soup. This tastily named band made up of Tess Kitchen (vocals, trumpet), Kim Model (guitar), Sam Lerner (bass), and Jake Wyman (percussion) first performed at a halloween party. They only rehearsed twice for the event but proved that they were destined for each other by energizing the crowd with a powerfully seamless set. Since their fateful start they have been rehearsing and performing constantly, solidifying their right to bear the fruits of beautiful music. On April 23rd they will be performing with D.O.T. (pronounced dot), another great local band that have been rocking us right for a long time. This is your chance to see two genuinely talented local bands. Come and see what these indie rock gems are all about.
