The APPLAUSE! Musicals Society continues its series of introductions to important musical theatre composers with this survey of the life and work of Alan Jay Lerner, a lyricist and librettist. Together with Frederick Loewe, he created some of the world's most popular and enduring works of musical theatre. Lerner won three Tony Awards and three Academy Awards, among other honors. Other collaborators include composers Burton Lane, Andre Previn, Leonard Bernstein and Charles Strouse.
Host Scott Ashton Swan will be joined by some of Vancouver’s most exciting musical theatre talent for this fun and informative evening of great songs.
