Event Description

An inviting introduction to the world of hand drumming for beginners and for those with some drumming experience. Clinician Jordan Hanson has studied traditional music over the past 14 years in West Africa, Cuba, Brazil, Belize, and Thailand.

Drums are provided. Registered participants are also welcome to bring their own African, Brazilian or Cuban hand drums.

Admission: $15 (pre-registration required).
Space is limited. Participants should register by November 20.
All participants must register and pay in advance.

To register, phone the Conservatory at 386-5311 (visa and master card accepted), or visit the office at 907 Pandora Avenue.

Victoria Conservatory of Music students may register for $10 on presentation of valid VCM student card.
