Event Description

The Vinyl Cafe is based on McLean's visits to "the world's smallest record store," where he picks up an eclectic selection of recorded music - and some neighbourhood gossip - from Dave, the store's eccentric owner. Stuart spins the gossip into short stories, which he interweaves with music.

Since September 1998, Stuart has taken The Vinyl Cafe on the road and presented live concerts to 50,000 people in more than 50 Canadian towns and cities.
